The Medicine Wheel relocated to its present site in 2002. The centre is now located in an old mill, close to Belfast and easily accessible via the M2. For Denise Burke, founder of The Medicine Wheel, this new environment was a marvellous opportunity to realise her vision: a centre for complementary therapies that has a high degree of professionalism in both training and practice, is easily accessible and offers retreats and an information service
The centre offers individual sessions and training in a variety of complementary therapies and personal development programmes. The Medicine Wheel is continually expanding to meet the needs of all. So, whether training for home use, to become a practitioner, looking for help with a particular problem or health issue, or simply from curiosity, call us now! Our aim is to support those new to this type of work and practicing therapists. Those new to complementary therapy will receive guidance on suitable therapies, and courses which are organised with the beginner in mind.
Who can benefit?
The therapies available at the Medicine Wheel have been found to benefit everyone, whether interested in relaxation or those suffering with:
to name only a few!
Those recovering from serious injuries/surgery will also benefit as research shows that the use of complementary therapies can speed up the healing process.
